Versatility & Comfort: The SF Plate Carrier draws on a highly modular design. With PALS webbing attachments covering the front, back, and shoulders of the vest, a cummerbund that includes two integrated pouches which can accommodate common LE and MBITR radios or store additional magazines on each side, and a front Kangaroo pouch insert to accommodate three .223/5.56 magazines - this carrier is built to adapt to any scenario.
Additionally, unique to the SF Plate Carrier, the cummerbund integrates 3D padded spacer mesh comfort flaps which pad your rib cage area, for comfort while wearing side plates or without. Combined with integrated 3D mesh shoulder pads to support load carriage, interior body side padding, and a highly adjustable shoulder strap and cummerbund design - the SF Plate Carrier fits the perfect balance of utility, wearability, and comfort.

The Shellback Tactical SF Plate Carrier is sized to fit military issued SAPI plates. The below chart refers to carrier size and the plates that fit each size (the most common size is Medium, which fits Medium SAPI size plates and 10x12 plates).
Small - 8.75" Wide x 11.75" Tall
Medium - 9.5" Wide x 12.5" Tall
Large - 10.25" Wide x 13.25" Tall
XLarge - 11" Wide x 14" Tall
*The cummerbund’s integrated side pockets accept 6x6 or 6x8 plates, and accepts soft armor inserts.
