The Shellback Tactical Prevail Series 6 x 8 Inch Stand Alone Level III Hard Armor Side Plate Model AR1000 is constructed of AR1000 Advanced Armox Steel and provides Level III ballistic protection against handgun and rifle rounds.

This side plate comes in both 6"x 6" and 6"x 8" configurations. This AR1000 steel plate is designed to be thin (only .35 inches thick), coated with rhino extreme lining to prevent fragmentation spall and is very economical for military and law enforcement personnel.
